jason witten

we love watching the dallas cowboys play football so when i heard we could meet jason witten and get an autographed football, i jumped at the chance. but... i didn't "jump" early enough because we waited in line for three hours and still didn't get to see him. it's not his fault though, he fulfilled his obligation by being there for an hour but there were just too many fans and not enough time. we even snuck around behind the building to try and catch him leaving but he was parked in the building so they just opened the overhead door and he drove away.

football and friends

friday night we met up with friends at burleson high school's homecoming football game against mansfield high. we had a lot of fun hanging out and catching up with friends we haven't seen in a while. (thanks for the pictures coby!)

grayson's 6 month update

grayson had his six month checkup today. he weighed 18 lbs. 9 oz. and is 27 1/2" long.

i went to school in joshua and played sports with leslie and now i work with her. she is so good with grayson and he loves her!

exciting news

i have so many things to post on here but i am going to have to skip those (branson vacation, dove hunting -I GOT 3!!, etc.) and give the latest update on grayson. he got his first tooth on sept. 3rd and another one just popped through today! he is teething and along with that is sick. he had his first sick visit to the doctor and has a viral respiratory infection (basically a cold). the last few days have not been fun with him teething and being sick with a fever. he is such a happy baby though so he is still giggling some of the time. i just shot this video of him because he is also CRAWLING!!! he isn't even six months old yet and he is getting around really good. one thing that i love about him being sick is that i get to spoil him and let him sleep in my arms! that is the best - i just wish he was feeling better!
