mammaw and grayson

larry, alan, grayson and i went to visit larry's mom, deloris knight, and his sisters, sandra and rita. we had lunch then went to the nursing home to visit grayson's great grandmother. this was the first time they met and grayson loved her! he kept smiling and reaching for her. it was so sweet to watch. mrs. knight was doing really well and was waiting for us in a wheelchair at the nurses station. we talked for a while about babies, quilting, brock, and a few other things. i hope we brightened her day because she brightened ours.

we also got a tour of sandra's garden. she is a master gardener and has many unusual plants. she even gave me a few rosebushes that she didn't want anymore. we really enjoyed our visit to killeen.

yes, that is grayson's diaper. he normally wears shorts but accidents happen!

5 months

grayson is five months old today. he is such a joy. i feel so blessed to have an amazing husband and a happy baby boy!
he tried avocados for the first time last night. he liked it better than bananas! here are a few pictures.

solids!!

the doctor told us that grayson is ready to start trying new foods. the first time he had cereal he made really funny faces so we thought he didn't like it but between bites he got so excited and would giggle and kick! i guess he likes it after all.

grayson is 4 months old

tubing

today we went to lake pat in cleburne and went tubing. we had a blast. my mom, dad, jill, colton, emma, graden, me, alan, and grayson got to go. everyone braved the tube except for my parents and grayson (of course). grayson had a lot of fun - it was his first boat ride and he loved it.
